The Event
The Chefs Long Table Lunch is an annual lavish charity luncheon held outdoors on the picturesque Pat Usher Foreshore overlooking the Leschenault Inlet in Bunbury, on the last Sunday of February, unless this date is on a long weekend, as it is in 2010. (The 2010 date is Sunday 21st February.)
Guests are seated under shady marquees in a fine dining setting and enjoy gourmet food prepared by award winning chefs and complemented by South West wines. The Chefs Long Table Lunch is organised entirely by volunteers and the food and wine served is donated by local producers.
Proceeds raised by the Chefs Long Table Lunch event are distributed to a selected South West charity chosen each year by the organising committee. Beneficiary applications are called for between June – August each year. Criteria and dates can be accessed from our website under ‘Beneficiaries’.
