Aims & Purpose
What is the Chefs Long Table Lunch?
- The Chefs Long Table Lunch is an annual charity luncheon held outdoors on the picturesque Pat Usher Foreshore overlooking the Leschenault Inlet in Bunbury, Western Australia on the last Sunday in February each year.
- The Event is organised entirely by volunteers.
- The food and wine served is mostly donated by local producers.
- 500 guests are shaded under shady marquees in a fine dining setting and enjoy gourmet food prepared by award winning chefs and complemented by South West wines.
- The majority of proceeds raised are distributed to a selected South West charity chosen each year by the organising committee.
- To support a greater cross section of the community, the remaining funds are distributed to a number of small charitable organisations and to an annual scholarship for an apprentice chef.

- From time to time, at the decretion of the committee, to offer an annual catering and hospitality scholarship to enable an outstanding apprentice chef to gain experience that might otherwise be beyond reach.
- To bring together a team of volunteers, sponsors, suppliers, and supporters for an event that benefits the greater community.
